There is more than one vegetarian diet. If someone tells you that they are a vegetarian that could mean many different things. With each style of a vegetarian diet there are certain foods that are restricted. Any of these ways of eating can help you to lose weight and more importantly keep it off and be healthier.
Here are a few categories of vegetarianism:
� Vegan - a vegan diet is one that does not have any animal products in it at all. There is no meat, diary, fish, poultry, eggs, or any products that contain any of these items. Many times vegans will also not eat honey.
� Lacto-vegetarian - a lacto vegetarian consists of a diet that cuts out meat, fish, poultry, and egg, but diary is allowed.
� Ovo-lacto-vegetarian - an ovo lacto vegetarian will not eat meat, fish, or poultry, but they will eat eggs and dairy products.
If you are considering switching over to a vegetarian diet for weight loss there are a few things that you can do to slowly change you meals. It might not be a good idea for you to completely cut out the meat, especially if you have had a diet heavy in meat for a long time. Instead slowly change what you eat. Start this process by increasing the meat free meals that you already eat. For example if you make a vegetable stir-fry make this more often.
Once you are comfortable with a few more meat free meals during the week add in substitutions. For example there are many meat free versions of faux ground beef, or fake chicken. It has been proven that people who eat a vegetarian diet, no matter what style of that diet eat fewer calories than people who eat meat. Whey protein is the most widely used bodybuilding supplement of all time due to being the highest quality protein available. Apart from that, it is also well know for its rich source of chained Amino Acids (BCAAs). It has many of benefits including:

P90X help!


I believe P90X is the best fitness program on the planet, but it is defiantly not easy. Here are my tips to getting awesome results

  1. Get your nutrition sorted. With out this you can do nothing, as Tony says abs are made in the kitchen.
  2. Do Your Best and Forget the rest. P90X is extremely difficult and most people, even the fittest won't have worked out this hard in their lives, so don't worry if you can't keep up at the start or the end, all that matters is that you are continuously improving. 
  3. Keep pressing play even if you don't feel like it. Some days we just don't feel like working out, but just need to get it done, and I promise by the end you will be bringing it.
  4. Do the Yoga. To me it is the most important day of the week and doing it will accelarate your results. 

P90x for teens

What age can I start P90X? or will P90X affect by growth or lead me to get injured if I start to early are common questions. It has been proven in many studies that weight training has no affect on a young persons growth or cause them to get injured.
So does that mean I can start at any age? No the problem is P90X is an extreme program and if you have had no experience with weight training you will probably do the exercises with bad form and cause you to get injured.
So what would my advise be.
If you have no experience of weight lifting and are out of shape start with Power 90 before going into P90X so you can get in good shape and learn correct form in many different kinds of exercise. If you are already in good shape i.e. you play sports regularly you should be all right to start P90X but start with light weights to learn the form so you do not get injured.

11-13: Power 90
13-15: P90X if you already an athlete or Power 90 for beginers.
15 onwards: start P90X only if you are in half decent shape.
